2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo arrives onto the Middle Eastern asphalt

Offering the sportiness of a coupé with the roominess of a hatchback, Hyundai’s Veloster Turbo has arrived in the Middle East and has its eyes set on shifting the brand’s model portfolio into top gear.

Tom Lee, Vice President and Head of Hyundai Africa and Middle East Regional Headquarters, said: “It is with great delight that we welcome the new Veloster Turbo to our Middle East portfolio. It brings new levels of sportiness to our fleet and represents the latest vehicle to feature our Fluidic Sculpture design language.
Under the hood, the Veloster Turbo houses a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox that gets mated to a 1.6 litre turbo four-cylinder engine and is good for a maximum output of 204 horsepower. To deliver a sportier ride, the Veloster Turbo features a revised front suspension, large front and rear stabilizer bars to reduce body roll, and Torque Vectoring Control to enhance stability through the bends.

The design features striking LED headlight accents and raking contour lines which make the Veloster Turbo instantly recognisable. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels with 10mm-wider tires, a chrome-tipped dual exhaust, a bodykit,  and a special wide-mouthed grille.
Arriving fashionably late to the hot hatch party, there isn’t much left to say except, “Welcome to the UAE, Veloster Turbo.”
