WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicle Test Procedure) is the new process that has been phased in from 2017, which measures fuel, energy consumption, range and emissions in passenger vehicles in Europe. This is designed to provide figures closer to real-world driving behaviour.

It tests vehicles with optional equipment and with a more demanding test procedure and driving profile. Every Jaguar feels like no other car on the road. Moving to all-electric power doesn’t change this. Built from the ground up, the new Jaguar I‑PACE is a pure Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). Thrilling to look at and drive, Jaguar I‑PACE is the world’s smartest five-seater sports car. PERFORMANCE Instant torque and All Wheel Drive traction gives I‑PACE the acceleration of a sports car. It reaches 100km/h (60mph) in 4.8 (4.5) seconds. BATTERY I‑PACE’s 90kWh battery is made up of high energy density lithium-ion pouch cells. Its design and state-of-the-art thermal management system supports longevity and periods of sustained maximum power.

POWER I‑PACE is propelled by two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. Similar to the technology found in the I‑TYPE Formula E racing car, these motors generate 400PS and 696Nm of torque. DIMENSIONS There are five full seats, innovative storage, a substantial rear loadspace of over 1,453 litres and 27 litres in the front storage compartment. CHARGING With a 50kW DC rapid charger – the kind found at most public charging stations – I‑PACE can achieve up to 270km (168 miles) of range per hour*. *Actual charge times may vary according to environmental conditions and available charging installation. INTERIOR CLIMATE Heating and air conditioning systems use energy and this can reduce range. These systems are most often used at the start of a journey so, to reduce the impact on range, I‑PACE has the ability to pre-condition the interior ahead of departure while the car is still charging. This allows I-PACE to use electricity from the power supply, and not the battery, to heat or cool the interior. CLEAN, CONVENIENT, HASSLE FREE I‑PACE’s battery is charged via the car’s plug-in charge point, discreetly located behind the front wheel arch. Once plugged in, you are free to leave I‑PACE to charge. The vehicle will automatically stop charging when it reaches full charge. It’s safe to charge the car in the rain, or even when parked in snow, as the charging system is entirely self-contained.
HOME CHARGING For optimum charging at home, you can install an approved Jaguar wall box*. I‑PACE is equipped with a 7kW single phase AC on-board charger**, which can fully recharge the vehicle overnight and deliver up to 35km (22 miles) of range per hour. When using a domestic socket, charging rates are slower than a wall box (up to 11km, 7 miles of range per hour), but are sufficient to cover the average daily commute of 60km (38 miles) if the vehicle is charged overnight. Industrial sockets (or upgraded domestic sockets) can charge up to 35 km (22 miles) of range per hour.

*Jaguar have authorised charging infrastructure partnerships for all markets in which I‑PACE is available. Our infrastructure partners are available to advise of the best solutions for you. Please consult your Jaguar Retailer for further information. **7kW electricity supply is available in most countries.

PUBLIC CHARGING The best way to get a quick top up of your battery’s charge for those long journeys is with DC chargers – a typical 50kW charger can deliver up to 270km (168 miles) of range per hour*. As the public charging infrastructure improves, I‑PACE will be equipped to accept up to a 100kW DC charge rate. This means you can easily add 100km (62 miles) of range in just 15 minutes. Depending upon the service provider, public AC chargers can have a range of outputs. You can also find convenient charging points at places you may want to stay for several hours – or even overnight – including local shopping centres, hotels and gyms. Simply pull up, plug in, then go enjoy yourself. Jaguar have authorised public charging partnerships for all markets in which I‑PACE is available.

*A DC rapid charger provides large amounts of energy in a short amount of time. The charging rate decreases as the battery reaches full capacity, therefore, in most cases it is quicker to rapid charge up to 80 percent capacity or for the extended range required. MULTI-FUNCTION CHARGING CABLE The Multi-Function Charging Cable (known as a Mode 2 Universal Charging Cable), supplied with I‑PACE, allows you to charge the vehicle from either a domestic socket or an industrial connector (IEC) socket. Ask your Jaguar Retailer for more information on using I‑PACE in other countries.

PUBLIC CHARGING CABLE The Public Charging Cable (known as a Mode 3 Charging Cable) connects I‑PACE to standard AC public charging points. This cable can also be used to connect to a home wall box. Rapid DC public charging points feature a tethered cable so you do not need to supply your own.

Ask your Jaguar Retailer for more information on your local and national public charging networks. A Public Charging Cable (Mode 3 Charging Cable) is supplied as standard with I‑PACE models sold in mainland Europe. PRESERVING RANGE I‑PACE is equipped with technology to preserve range and protect the vehicle’s battery. With cabin preconditioning, for example, you can heat or cool the interior while I‑PACE is charging and the electricity used will be drawn from the mains supply, not the battery. JAGUAR DYNAMICS The I‑PACE powertrain provides 400PS and 696Nm of usable instant torque. With built-in All Wheel Drive traction, I‑PACE accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds (0-60mph in 4.5 seconds). BATTERY I‑PACE’s 90kWh battery is designed for longevity and supports protracted periods of sustained maximum power. The battery’s position within the wheelbase provides the vehicle with a low centre of gravity, naturally benefiting vehicle dynamics, making I‑PACE a true driver’s car. MOTORS I‑PACE is propelled by two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors integrated with the front and rear axles.

These motors provide 400PS and 696Nm of useable instant torque. With built-in All Wheel Drive traction, I‑PACE accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds (0-60mph in 4.5 seconds) TRANSMISSION I‑PACE does not require a conventional transmission. Instead, it is all about simplicity. JaguarDrive instantly delivers sustainable acceleration from 0-12,000rpm with no lag and no gearshift interruptions
