2017 Aston Martin V8, V12 Vantage S special edition Red Bull Racing models have been revealed

Two brand-new special edition Red Bull Racing models have been revealed ahead of their official unveiling, planned for this year’s opening round of the 2017 Formula One season in Melbourne. This time, though, thanks to a new relationship, they’re not Renaults but Aston Martins. Due to make their public debut at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix in March, the Aston Martin V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing editions have been put together by ‘Q by Aston Martin’ – the premium UK brand’s in-house personalisation division – and “created to celebrate Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing’s ‘Innovation Partnership’”. According to Aston Martin, both cars feature Red Bull Racing-inspired ‘liveries’, teaming Mariana Blue exterior paint with red grille and side strake highlights, and yellow brake calipers. Ensuring the racing theme runs deeper than mere paint colours, the two Aston Martin Vantage S Red Bull Racing editions come standard with carbon-fibre grilles, front splitters, side strakes, and rear diffusers. Inside, more carbon-fibre joins specially-stitched bucket seats with ‘Red Bull Racing’-embroidered headrests, and an Alcantara steering wheel. Who would say no, but Aston Martin says customers can also opt to have their car’s sill and final inspection plates signed by either of Red Bull Racing’s drivers, Aussie Daniel Ricciardo or Belgian-born Dutchman Max Verstappen.
