 The new Celerio is designed in Japan to appeal to a wide global audience.

 On the whole, the Celerio’s inoffensive styling should find favour among all types of buyers in the small car segment.
 Higher variants of the Celerio get alloy wheels.
 ABS is available as an option on the top-end ZXI variant.
 The updated K10 motor has decent power at low engine speeds, the motor is responsive and the engine’s quiet enough till 3000rpm too.
 The Celerio features a roomy dual tone interior.
 Driver gets a seat-height adjust as well.
 Internally adjustable wing mirrors are standard on the higher variants.
 Celerio ZXI also gets steering mounted audio control.
 The Celerio's 5-speed manual gearbox is approx 3.5 kg lighter than the older unit.
 Rear passengers get decent head and leg room.
 The Celerio also gets a 60:40 split rear seat in some variants.
 Dashboard looks upmarket, steering wheel shared with higher Maruti models like the swift.
 The upper variants of Celerio get a 2-DIN stereo.
 Some variants come equipped with bluetooth as well.
